My ISP is blocking SMTP sending over port 25.
Some internet service providers will block port 25 to force the user to use their default mail servers. Keller Technologies has made port 26 available for SMTP delivery. Simply update your mail client to use port 26 if you run across this problem.
What email protocols do you support?
We currently support: IMAP, Secure IMAP, POP3, Secure POP3, SMTP, Secure SMTP. All protocols use default ports.
How do I create a new email account?
Login to your control panel and click on the Mail icon. Then click on the Add/Remove mail accounts and within this area you will be able to manage all of your email accounts.
What is the limit on email attachment sizes?
There are no limits set for attachment sizes.
What mail server does your service use?
We currently use Exim, and for scripts written to utilize sendmail, all servers have a symlink called sendmail so that your scripts will work correctly.
I am trying to view my email via webmail and cannot see my messages?
It is likely that you have retrieved them already with your POP3 mail client. If you wish to keep your messages on the server so that you may view them via webmail while traveling, we recommend setting your mail client to keep the messages on the server after the download is complete.
How do I access webmail?
You can access it via:
http://yourdomain.com:2095
https://yourdomain.com:2096
What is considered SPAM?
Keller Technologies strictly adheres to the CAN-SPAM act which is described in detail here: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/canspam.htm
My mail client won’t let me send mail?
Make sure that you have set your mail client to authenticate with your username and password when attempting to send messages.
Additional mail accounts I create will not work?
Make sure you are using the full username in the proper format: username@yourdomain.com.
I've just purchased an account and none of my email accounts work?
You must first update your DNS settings with your domain registrar and allow 24-72 hours for it to fully propagate before mail will work correctly.
I am a hosting customer, what nameservers should I use?
Please use the following:
ns1.kellertechnologies.com
